Rayagada town itself is short on conventional sights, but the surrounding hills and tribal villages are why anyone comes. The two town landmarks — the Majhighariani Temple and the Hanging Bridge over the Nagavali River — make a pleasant afternoon, and the weekly tribal markets in nearby villages are extraordinary if you can time your visit right.
