Sariyatal Lake is a small lake outside central Nainital, useful when the main lakefront feels too busy. The water is cold and the setting is modest, but it is a pleasant place to slow down for an hour.
The nearby park makes it more of a gentle outing than a major sight. It works best as a short stop if you have your own transport or are already exploring the road around Nainital.
