The lake and the hills are the point. Most visitors spend their time on or around Naini Lake — boating, walking the Mall Road promenade, or taking the cable car up to Snow View Point for Himalayan panoramas. The Naina Devi temple on the lakeside, the colonial-era churches, and the zoo on the hill round out a day or two nicely.
