Dwarkadhish Temple

Dwarkadhish Temple is Mathura's main old-city temple, built in the early 19th century and dedicated to Krishna as the king of Dwarka. Its courtyards, carved gateway, and festival decorations make it one of the best places to feel the city's devotional pulse.

The temple is especially vivid during Holi, Janmashtami, and Diwali. Outside festival season, it is still worth visiting as part of a walk between the old lanes and Vishram Ghat.
