Salkhan Fossils Park is Robertsganj's strongest reason to stop. The park protects stromatolite fossils in very old Proterozoic rock, a rare kind of geological sight for casual travellers. It is not especially polished, so come for the science and the oddity rather than visitor-centre comforts.
