Kesi Ghat is where Vrindavan turns toward the Yamuna. Tradition links it to Krishna's defeat of the horse-demon Kesi, and the broad stone steps still draw pilgrims for bathing, prayer, and evening aarti.
The river is not pristine, and the approach can be busy, but the ghat gives Vrindavan a different mood from the temple lanes. Come near sunset for lamps, chanting, and the town's most direct contact with the Yamuna.
