Firoz Minar is a 15th-century tower built under Sultan Saifuddin Firuz Shah. It stands on a small mound in the old citadel, with polygonal lower storeys and circular upper ones.
The tower is often compared to a small Qutb Minar, though the mood here is very different: quieter, greener, and more fragmentary. Visitors generally cannot climb inside, but the silhouette is one of Gour's strongest landmarks.
