Lotan Masjid is a 15th-century mosque attributed to Sultan Shamsuddin Yusuf Shah. Its square prayer hall, large dome, smaller domed verandah, and sloping roof forms are typical of late medieval Bengal, while the surviving terracotta decoration and traces of enamel tilework give it a more delicate character than its ruined setting first suggests.
