Medewi Point

Long, mellow left-hand point break that gives Medewi its surf-town identity.

Medewi Point is one of Bali's friendlier long lefts: a wave with enough length and shape to reward better surfers, but a slower rhythm than the famous reefs farther south. On good days, the ride feels almost leisurely by Bali standards.

The entry and exit are rocky, so complete beginners should be careful and use local advice. Even if you never paddle out, the point is a fine place to sit with a drink and watch surfers, fishing boats, and the soft evening light on the west coast.
