The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary — the name literally means "monkey forest" in Sanskrit — is a lush woodland on the southern edge of Ubud sheltering hundreds of long-tailed macaques. Three temples and a traditional Balinese cemetery sit within the forest grounds. Open daily from 8am to 6pm.
