Ora Beach is the postcard side of Seram: clear water, reef close to shore, forested limestone behind the coast, and simple cottages standing over the lagoon. It is on the north side of the island, so reaching it from Masohi takes planning, but this is the beach most travellers have in mind when they make the effort to come to Seram.
Snorkelling is the obvious draw. Watch for sea urchins in the shallows, and do not assume supplies will be easy once you are away from town.
