Jamkaran Mosque is one of Iran's major pilgrimage mosques, standing southeast of Qom. It is especially associated with devotion to the Twelfth Imam and draws large numbers of pilgrims, particularly on Tuesday evenings.
For Muslim visitors it can be a powerful religious stop outside the city centre. Non-Muslims should be aware that access is restricted and should check current rules before travelling out.
