Yotvata Hai-Bar Nature Reserve is a desert wildlife reserve north of Eilat, focused on species that once lived in the region or are being bred for conservation. The drive-through section may include wild asses, oryx, gazelles, addax, ostriches, and raptors, depending on conditions and season.
It is a good family stop if you are travelling the Arava road or pairing Eilat with Timna Park. The setting is dry and exposed, so bring water and avoid treating it like an air-conditioned zoo.
