Eilat's most visited family attraction, and for good reason: a marine park built around a tower that extends six metres below the sea surface, giving views directly onto a living coral reef through circular windows. The observatory itself requires no swimming or diving ability, making the underwater world accessible to anyone. Sharks, rays, and reef fish cruise past the glass at close range.
Above the water, the park includes a large aquarium with tanks containing sharks, rays, sea turtles, and deep-sea fish, plus a "Shark World" exhibit with feeding demonstrations. The Yellow Submarine, a semi-submersible boat, takes visitors for a cruise over deeper reef sections. The park is large enough to spend two or three hours. It sits on the Coral Beach strip at Eilat's southern end, making it easy to combine with a visit to the nearby nature reserve.
