Hamamatsu Flower Park is a large garden attraction on the edge of Lake Hamana, planted with thousands of flowering plants that change with the seasons. It is at its best in spring, when cherry blossoms, tulips, and other blooms turn the grounds into one of Hamamatsu's prettiest walks.
The park is easy to combine with the nearby lake area or Hamamatsu Municipal Zoo. Come for a relaxed half-day rather than a quick city-centre stop.
