The Pioneer Memorial Home of Hamasaka, also called Imeitei, is an old residence turned museum near Hamasaka Station. The house preserves domestic rooms, a small brewery space, a garden, and exhibits tied to local figures including the poet Mori Aio.
It is not a blockbuster sight, but it gives Shinonsen's coastal half a human scale. Pair it with a walk through Hamasaka before heading inland to Yumura.
