Yumechiyokan Museum is devoted to Yumechiyo's Diary, the 1980s television drama filmed in Yumura Onsen. It displays costumes, props, and recreated sets, which makes most sense if you know the programme, but it also explains why a small mountain onsen became familiar to Japanese viewers.
It sits close to Arayu, so it works as a short stop while wandering Yumura's hot-spring lanes.
