Muroya-no-sono is a larger merchant-house museum in the white-walled district. The Oda family residence grew from early-18th-century wealth in rapeseed oil and preserves storehouses, domestic rooms, tools, and antiques.
It gives useful context to the street outside. Yanai looks pretty at first glance; Muroya-no-sono explains the money and trade behind those white walls.
