Nakafurano Lavender Garden spreads over the slopes of Mount Hokusei, a small hill north of Furano. In lavender season, the chair lift climbs directly above the flower fields, giving an easy aerial view of the purple rows and surrounding farmland.
It is smaller than some of the area's better-known flower farms, but the hillside setting makes it a good stop when the lavender is in bloom.
