Osawa Residence is an old merchant storehouse built in 1792 for a family trading in miso and soy. It survived Kawagoe's great fire and is one of the oldest storehouses in the city.
The first floor is used as a shop, while the upper floor has a small exhibition. It fits naturally with a walk through Kawagoe's warehouse district.
