Textile Museum Yukari is the most hands-on way to understand Kiryu. Set in a former sawtooth-roofed textile mill, it covers the process from silk yarn to finished cloth, with looms, tools, dyes, and demonstrations rather than glass cases alone.
The museum is small enough to feel personal but specific enough to justify Kiryu as more than another regional city. If you only have time for one textile stop, make it this one.
