Rinkokaku is Maebashi's most graceful historic building, a wooden guesthouse set in Maebashi Park. It was built for official visitors in the Meiji period and later expanded, leaving broad tatami rooms, polished corridors, and garden views that feel far removed from the traffic nearby.
It is an easy, quiet stop in the city centre and pairs naturally with the prefectural government tower and the riverside park.
