Mount Ishikawa is a modest 204-metre hill in Uruma, but it is the highest point in the city and gives a quick look over central Okinawa Island. Trails climb through greenery to the summit, making it a simple nature break between the island's beaches, capes, and castle ruins.
Come for a short hike and views rather than a major mountain day. It is most useful if you are already exploring the east-central part of the island.
