Tindabana is a natural rock formation above Sonai village, with broad views over the settlement and the coast. Local tradition connects the site with Sanai Isoba, the legendary empress of Yonaguni.
The climb is short by island standards, and the reward is one of the more accessible viewpoints on Yonaguni. Go in clear weather if you can, when the village, sea, and inland slopes are all visible.
