Uchinuki Springs

Uchinuki is Saijo's famous artesian spring water, pushed up naturally from the underground flow of Mount Ishizuchi. You see it in small fountains and roadside taps around the station area, where locals fill bottles and visitors quickly learn why the city talks about water so much.

Bring an empty bottle. The springs are not a single grand monument, but they are the simplest way to understand Saijo's pride in its mountain water.
