A 13 sq km reserve of oak, carob, pistachio, and wild strawberry woodland managed by the RSCN. Five marked trails radiate from the visitor centre and campsite, ranging from a short 1 km loop to the full-day Prophet's Trail (8.5 km), which winds through forest and villages to Tel Mar Elias — a Byzantine-era site associated with the Prophet Elijah. The Soap-Makers Trail (6–7 km) passes through local villages where you can watch traditional soap-making. The reserve has basic cabins and a restaurant if you want to stay overnight.
