The Jerash Archaeological Museum is housed in a restored building within the ancient city precinct and displays finds from excavations across the site. The collection includes Roman-era coins, ceramic lamps, glass vessels, statuary fragments, and inscriptions — a cross-section of everyday and ceremonial life in ancient Gerasa.
The museum is small by major city standards but its quality is good, and the proximity to the ruins gives the objects context that museum collections in distant capitals cannot provide. Particular highlights include a collection of bronze statuettes and some well-preserved mosaic fragments from the Byzantine period. The museum is included in the general site admission ticket.
