Karakhan Mausoleum stands in the old part of Taraz, close to the historical core of the city. The present building is a later reconstruction, but the site is strongly associated with the Karakhanid ruler at the centre of the Aisha Bibi story.
It is less visually rich than Aisha Bibi, but it matters because it completes the local triangle of legend, dynasty, and pilgrimage. Visit it with Ancient Taraz and Dautbek Mausoleum nearby, then continue west to Aisha Bibi if you have a taxi.
