Kochkor Park is not grand, but it gives the village a centre. Around the trees sit Soviet-era civic buildings in mixed states of repair, including cultural and museum spaces that may or may not be open when you pass.
It is worth a slow walk when you have a spare hour between transport and trek planning. The park also helps orient you: most of central Kochkor's useful stops sit within a short walk of here and the main road.
