Labuan Marine Park covers the waters around Kuraman, Rusukan Besar, and Rusukan Kecil, south of the main island. It is the island's best natural escape: clear water, small beaches, coral gardens, and a group of wreck dives that mix marine life with Labuan's maritime history.
Divers come for the four main wrecks, while non-divers can still make a worthwhile boat trip for snorkelling, swimming, and a picnic on the islands. Conditions are best outside the rougher monsoon periods, and you should arrange the boat through a local operator rather than assuming there will be casual departures waiting at the jetty.
