The Kazakh National Theater is the big red cultural hall in central Olgii, built to promote Kazakh culture in Mongolia's far west. It hosts concerts, plays, and visiting performers from Kazakhstan and elsewhere in Mongolia.
The building is not polished, but it is one of the clearest public signs of Olgii's Kazakh identity. Check locally for performances, as the programme is more useful than the architecture.
