San Maria Bay and Myawyik Pagoda make one of the more memorable short excursions on the Dawei Peninsula. A small causeway leads out toward the pagoda island, with sea, rock, and low green hills doing most of the work.
It is a simple place, not a managed attraction. Check tides and local conditions before setting out, and combine it with Maungmagan or a longer beach run rather than making it a single-purpose trip.
