The small tea stall just inside the lake gate opens before sunrise and serves kahwa, doodh pati chai, and green tea through the day. Pakoras and biscuits appear later in the morning. It is a relaxed, unhurried spot — a plastic chair and a hot glass of tea while the mist lifts off the water is a fine way to start the day.
The owner tends to know current trail conditions and can advise on the state of the forest paths above the lake.
