Bhera's attractions are historical and culinary. The walled old city and its eight gates frame a dense medieval street plan, and the Sher Shah Suri Mosque is one of the finest Mughal-era monuments in this part of Punjab. The Haveli Al-Jameel offers a rare look at traditional Punjabi domestic architecture. The food is excellent: try the phenia at any of the sweet shops near the old bazaar.
