A complex of tombs north of the city centre containing the remains of the Talpur rulers of Sindh, who governed from 1784 to 1843. The tombs are built of glazed kashi tiles — blue, turquoise, and white — in the Sindhi style, with ornate decoration covering the exterior walls. The largest tomb is that of Mir Karam Ali Khan.
The complex is one of the most significant examples of Sindhi funerary architecture in Pakistan. The glazed tile work, which draws on Iranian tile traditions adapted in Sindh, is in varying states of preservation — some panels remain vivid, others have been damaged by weather or vandalism. The site is open to visitors; a caretaker is usually present. Combine with the nearby Shahi Bazaar for a half-day in the north of the city.
