Jinnah's birthplace, preserved as a national monument

The birthplace of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, in the Kharadar neighbourhood of old Karachi. The three-storey balconied house has been preserved as a national monument and contains photographs, letters, and personal effects relating to Jinnah's life and the independence movement. The surrounding streets of Kharadar are worth exploring too — one of the oldest and most densely packed parts of the city.
