Karachi's main historical sights are in the older central districts. The Mazar-e-Quaid (Jinnah Mausoleum) is the city's defining monument; Frere Hall and Wazir Mansion are the most significant colonial-era and independence-related sites. The museum strip along Karsaz Road and Sharah-e-Faisal includes the Pakistan Air Force Museum and Maritime Museum, both easily combined.
