Shahi Bazaar is the place to see Umerkot working as a living town rather than a historical footnote. The lanes are practical and crowded, with cloth, household goods, snacks, and small shops serving locals more than visitors.
Do not expect a curated craft market. Come for colour, noise, and the ordinary texture of a Sindhi town near the Thar.
