The Caticlan Jetty Port in Malay's Caticlan barangay is the main embarkation point for the ten-minute pumpboat crossing to Boracay. Visitors pay a small environmental fee plus a boat fare at three booths inside the terminal — keep your photo ID handy because the registration system is strict about counting tourists on and off the island.
The boats are wooden outriggers, fast and stable; service typically runs from before dawn until early evening, with crossings every few minutes. From the Caticlan side you can see Boracay's hills directly across the channel — the lights of White Beach become visible at dusk.
