Hoyop-Hoyopan Cave

Hoyop-Hoyopan Cave, in the neighbouring municipality of Camalig (about 15 kilometres west of Daraga), is one of the most accessible cave systems in Bicol. The name means "blow-blow" in the local Bikol dialect, after the breeze that flows constantly through its chambers. Inside are stalactites, stalagmites, and pre-Columbian burial jars and remains that have been radiocarbon-dated to around 200 BCE.

Local guides lead one-hour tours that follow a lit path through the main chambers. The cave is often combined with a visit to the Cagsawa Ruins on a half-day trip from Daraga or Legazpi. Entrance fee around PHP 100; bring sturdy shoes.
