Tinago Falls is the most satisfying Iligan waterfall for many visitors. The name means "hidden", and the approach fits: you descend a long staircase into a deep ravine where the falls drop into a cold blue pool.
It is more physical than Maria Cristina Falls, but the reward is better if you want to swim, take a raft close to the spray, or simply sit at water level rather than look from a controlled viewpoint. Save energy for the climb back out.
