Lipa has a solid range of local eateries centred on the city hall area and the main commercial streets. Filipino staples are everywhere, but the city has a particular identity around coffee — any self-respecting breakfast here starts with a cup of barako. The food scene skews local and unpretentious, which is no bad thing.
