Du-aw Kagay-an Park

Du-aw Kagay-an Park is a small riverfront park tied to Cagayan de Oro's local civic and religious stories. Its name means "to visit Cagayan," and it is best treated as a short stop rather than a destination in itself.

The park is busiest during the city fiesta, when the fluvial procession ends here after coming up from Macabalan Pier. Outside festival time, it is a quiet place to pause by the river and get a little context for the old settlement around the mouth of the Cagayan de Oro River.
