Getting There

Pasay is where most visitors to Manila arrive — Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) has all its terminals within or immediately adjacent to Pasay city. From the airport to central Pasay and the CCP complex takes 10–20 minutes by taxi; to central Manila, allow 30–60 minutes depending on traffic (which can be severe).

The LRT Line 1 (Light Rail Transit) runs through Pasay, with stations at Libertad, Gil Puyat (Buendia), and Baclaran (the southern terminus). The MRT Line 3 terminates at Taft Avenue station. These rail connections make Pasay accessible from most of Metro Manila without fighting the notorious road traffic, and Taft Avenue/Buendia are useful interchange points.

Ride-hailing apps (Grab is the dominant platform) work well in Pasay and are the most convenient way to get around for most visitors.
