St Bernard is reached by road from Sogod, Maasin, or the eastern Southern Leyte towns. Vans, buses, and jeepneys run through the area, but schedules can be thin away from the main routes.
Private transport makes the surrounding beaches and waterfall barangays much easier. During rainy spells, ask locally about road conditions before committing to upland detours.
