Mageumsan Hot Spring is Changwon's old-school spa stop, set north of the city rather than in the busy centre. The water comes out hot and mineral-rich, and local visitors come for soaking, resting, and the belief that the baths help stiff joints and tired skin.
It is not a polished resort experience, which is part of the appeal. Come for a practical soak after sightseeing or hiking nearby, and check current bathhouse arrangements before making a special trip.
