Byeongcheon Sundae Street is where Cheonan's best-known local food becomes a destination. Sundae here means Korean blood sausage, usually served with soup, offal, rice, and dipping salt; it is hearty, cheap, and not shy.
The street grew around Aunae Market and the old ham-processing economy of the area. It is most useful as a lunch stop after the Yu Gwan-sun memorial or the Independence Hall, especially if you want your Cheonan day to include something more local than another museum cafe.
