Gwangdeoksa Daeungjeon is the main hall of Gwangdeoksa Temple, a Buddhist site traditionally linked to the Silla period. The present hall was dismantled and rebuilt in the 1980s, but the temple remains one of the more interesting historic stops outside central Cheonan.
Come for the quiet temple setting and the broad wooden hall with its Buddha images inside. It is a worthwhile detour if you are already exploring the countryside south of the city.
