The Metasequoia-lined Road is the other classic Damyang walk, a long straight avenue where trees planted in the 1970s have grown into a high, photogenic tunnel. It is simple, almost absurdly so, but the scale works: the trunks, the filtered light, and the vanishing point make it feel ceremonial.
