Buhang Dam is a mountain reservoir west of Gimcheon, built as a multipurpose dam and now used as a quiet leisure area. The water, surrounding ridges, suspension bridge, and small eco-park make it a relaxed stop for a walk or cycle ride outside the city.
It is best treated as a scenic detour rather than a major sight. Go on a clear day, when the reservoir views and the nearby bridge do most of the work.
